Lesson 3 of 6 · What tawbah asks for, and what it does not

The one sentence

Write what you learned, in your own words, not ours. Words you wrote yourself are the ones you will still have at one in the morning.

The move

Not making it bigger than it is asked to be

5 minutes or less

  1. Write what you have been telling yourself tawbah requires of you.
  2. Underline anything that is a verdict on whether you will be accepted.
  3. That part is not yours to decide and this course does not decide it either.
  4. What is left is a turning, and a turning is a thing you can do today and again tomorrow.

If it does not work

If the doubt about whether it counted keeps returning and needs rechecking, that is the pattern the waswasa course describes and it is worth reading that one too.

Write the one sentence

A specific plan works better than a good intention. Fill both halves in your own words.
