It is not only about faces

Most articles on this assume a young woman looking at photographs. That covers some of it and misses most of it.

The same machinery runs on a colleague's promotion, a cousin's wedding, a stranger's kitchen, how much Qur'an somebody your age has memorised, whose children sit still in the masjid, and whose marriage looks easy from outside.
