If it has not responded, that is information

This is the point of the lesson.

If you have anchored the morning for a month, moved the phone out, moved the coffee, and the nights have not changed, the answer is not that you need to try harder or want it more. Sleep is not responsive to effort, and it never was.

Sleep that does not respond to ordinary changes is a reason to see a doctor, not a reason to redouble. That is not a defeat and it is not you being sent away. It is the same move as taking a cough that has lasted three months to somebody who can look at it.

Going is not a concession wrung out of the religion either. The instruction in the tradition is in the imperative and it is addressed to worshippers: use remedies, for Allah did not send down a disease without sending down a cure for it. Neither of the reports below makes any claim about what you have, which is exactly what is wanted here.
