In practice it usually shows up alongside ADHD or autism, so it is best written up as a feature of the person: what they cannot tolerate, what they seek out, what helps. Recorded that way it still supports school arrangements and funding conversations. A label with no established treatment pathway behind it can close doors instead of opening them.
God wants ease for you, not hardship (Quran 2:185). The aim is a child's day made easier, and that does not have to wait for a label.

شَهۡرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ هُدࣰ ى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَٰتࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَٱلۡفُرۡقَانِۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهۡرَ فَلۡيَصُمۡهُۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوۡ عَلَىٰ سَفَرࣲ فَعِدَّةࣱ مِّنۡ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَۗ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلۡيُسۡرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلۡعُسۡرَ وَلِتُكۡمِلُواْ ٱلۡعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمۡ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ
It was in the month of Ramadan that the Quran was revealed as guidance for mankind, clear messages giving guidance and distinguishing between right and wrong. So any one of you who is present that month should fast, and anyone who is ill or on a journey should make up for the lost days by fasting on other days later. God wants ease for you, not hardship. He wants you to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him for having guided you, so that you may be thankful

Formal bodies are usually slow to endorse, and the slowness is doing something useful. An international taskforce reviewed nutrient based treatments across psychiatric disorders and placed most ADHD supplements in the weak or provisional categories rather than recommending them. Different subject, same discipline: a claim is held at arm's length until the evidence for it holds.

Strength of evidence: one line of research. A single study, or a theoretical account.
Describing a difficulty precisely gets it accommodated, while naming it as a disorder can leave a family chasing a treatment that does not exist.
People with ADHD are reported to run low on both tryptophan and homocysteine. Low homocysteine is a good thing to have, since it is the high version that damages hearts.
Try swapping the word picky for particular. A fair number of people with ADHD have more densely packed taste buds, so the bitterness in a sprout arrives at full volume.
Natural is not a regulated word: anyone can print it next to a picture of a leaf, on anything at all. Organic in the USDA sense does have a legal definition sitting behind it.
