People hide what they expect to be laughed at. Someone braced for an eye roll simply does not mention the four bottles in the kitchen cupboard, and the hidden ones are exactly the ones that interact with medication. Asking plainly, with no verdict attached, buys safety whatever you privately think of the products.
God wants ease for you, not hardship (Quran 2:185). A question asked in a way that makes something easier to admit is doing more good than a correction would.
البقرة
شَهۡرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ هُدࣰ ى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَٰتࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَٱلۡفُرۡقَانِۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهۡرَ فَلۡيَصُمۡهُۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوۡ عَلَىٰ سَفَرࣲ فَعِدَّةࣱ مِّنۡ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَۗ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلۡيُسۡرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلۡعُسۡرَ وَلِتُكۡمِلُواْ ٱلۡعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمۡ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ
It was in the month of Ramadan that the Quran was revealed as guidance for mankind, clear messages giving guidance and distinguishing between right and wrong. So any one of you who is present that month should fast, and anyone who is ill or on a journey should make up for the lost days by fasting on other days later. God wants ease for you, not hardship. He wants you to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him for having guided you, so that you may be thankful

A randomised trial of a lifestyle intervention in children with mental illness, ADHD included, worked on diet, activity, gaming and sleep as one package and followed symptoms and physical health over time. Whatever it concludes, it shows these subjects have moved inside the clinical conversation rather than sitting outside it. That is the ground on which an honest question about supplements can be asked.

Strength of evidence: one line of research. A single study, or a theoretical account.
People tell you what they are taking once they are sure you will not make them feel stupid for taking it.
When a test trips a child on something it was never meant to measure, change how they answer rather than what is asked. A spelling test spoken aloud is still a spelling test.
Being told you are too sensitive is usually someone else's comfort talking. Feeling things strongly is not the problem to solve; what to do once the feeling has arrived is.
Since 1994, supplements have not had to satisfy a regulator before going on sale. Nobody checked the bottle in your hand the way they check a prescription.
