More facts will not close that gap. What closes it is arranging things so the session happens with fewer decisions in the way: kit by the door, a fixed slot, someone waiting, a route you do not have to think about. If you are helping someone, skip the part where you explain the benefits, since they already know. Ask what would make Thursday morning easier.
Man will only have what he has worked towards (Quran 53:39). What counts is what gets done, which is a different matter from what you already believe.

A home based activity programme for mothers at risk of postnatal depression was tested mostly for whether they could actually live with it, and it proved workable and acceptable to them. It was a pilot and not powered to show symptoms changing. Even so, the choice of what to measure is the point: whether people can do the thing is a real research question, not an afterthought.

Strength of evidence: one line of research. A single study, or a theoretical account.
Being persuaded and getting started are separate problems, and only the second one responds to changing your surroundings.
Arrange to meet someone. A neighbour at the gate at eight, a friend expecting you, even an app counting a streak. Turning up for someone else is easier than turning up for yourself.
Clumsy is not a description you can work with. Balance, core strength, shifting your weight, big movements, small ones, catching a ball, keeping a beat: those you can look at one at a time.
A movement practice comes apart into pieces: the shapes, the breathing, the noticing. On a day when the whole thing is beyond you, take one piece.
