- Ask whether you want company and cannot get it, or whether you no longer want anything.
- Ask whether the flatness is only about people or about everything.
- Ask about sleep and appetite.
- Wanting and not getting is loneliness. Not wanting, with flatness everywhere, is worth taking to a doctor.
If it does not work
If you cannot tell, say both when you go. Nobody needs you to have sorted it out before you arrive.
