Coaching for attention difficulties is mostly this, and nothing more mysterious. Someone sits with you, builds the week, works out what comes first, keeps the paperwork moving. It faces forwards and does not ask why you are like this, which is what makes it a different job from therapy rather than a cheaper version of it. Many people want both. Worth knowing in advance that coaching usually comes out of your own pocket.
They conduct their affairs by mutual consultation (Quran 42:38). Working something out with another person is presented as an ordinary way to run things, not as an admission of failure.
الشورى
وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ لِرَبِّهِمۡ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَمۡرُهُمۡ شُورَىٰ بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ

A Cochrane review examined personalised care planning, where the person and the professional sit down together, name the problems and agree specific goals and actions for managing a long term condition. It comes from general health rather than from ADHD, so the transfer is an argument rather than a result. Still, it describes the same move as coaching: the plan is made jointly, written down and returned to, instead of living in one person's head.

Strength of evidence: one line of research. A single study, or a theoretical account.
If the planning part of the mind is running short, the plan can be kept somewhere other than in the mind.
A pile is mostly decisions you have not made. You did not know what to do with the thing, so you put it down there to sort out later, and later has not arrived.
Reading a room is a skill rather than a personality trait, and it can be broken into parts. Before you speak, take a second to look: who is here, what they are doing, how loud the place is.
Pick one aim big enough to hold the year, and let it be the thing you measure choices against. Not a list of values. One.
