You are not accusing anyone by asking. Talks, printed materials and study days are often funded by the company that makes the drug, and that funding does not make what is said false. It does mean the shape of a claim is worth checking against the research, particularly when a newer product is described as an easy swap for an older one.
This explains how treatments work. Never start, stop or change a medication because of something you read here.
'Give full measure when you measure, and weigh with accurate scales' (Quran 17:35). Honest measure is asked of the one selling as much as the one buying.

A clinical review of atomoxetine looked at when its benefit appears and found it builds gradually across weeks rather than showing up within hours, which is a real difference from the stimulants. Anyone describing it as a straight substitute is skipping that. Knowing it in advance also changes what counts as a fair trial of the drug.

Strength of evidence: one line of research. A single study, or a theoretical account.
Knowing who paid for a claim tells you how hard to check it, not whether it is wrong.
Being given a medicine that holds no licence for your condition can feel like being experimented on. Usually it means the evidence is decent but thinner than a licence demands.
Offered ten pounds now or twenty in an hour, plenty of people with attention difficulties take the ten and know while they are doing it that it makes no sense. The pull towards now is not a flaw of character.
A pharmacy refusing a valid prescription is often working from a made-up rule or a plain mistake. It can usually be escalated, and it usually resolves fast.
