Write your own list and mark which ones actually apply to you. Someone who is never late but always guesses the best case needs a record of real durations. Someone who plans beautifully and then disappears into a task needs an alarm on the other side of the room. The general label gives you nothing to act on, and it usually arrives carrying a lot of old shame.
Praise is due to Him in the late afternoon, and at midday (Quran 30:18). The day is spoken of in named portions rather than as one long stretch.

A study of 1,879 university students used cluster analysis and found the combined presentation of ADHD carried the highest risk of delay, depletion and disengagement from study. Clusters describe groups rather than individuals, and this was one student sample at one point in time. It does suggest these difficulties travel in patterns worth mapping instead of one undifferentiated problem.

Strength of evidence: one line of research. A single study, or a theoretical account.
Splitting a broad complaint into named behaviours tells you which prop to reach for.
You do not have to agree that it will take longer. Add the extra time anyway and let the week prove you right or wrong. If you finish early, you have a spare twenty minutes, which is not a punishment.
When someone has missed the deadline again, the talk about how they always do this changes nothing except how they feel. If you want a different Friday, the conversation belongs on Monday, and it is about the plan rather than the person.
Set the limit while you are calm and let the device hold it. A computer that shuts itself down at half past ten is arguing with nobody, which is why it wins.
