Setting down what was sent to you
5 minutes or less
- Write down the thing somebody sent you that has stayed with you and hurt.
- The lesson sets out which of those are sound and which are not.
- You are allowed to set down anything that is not sound, and you are allowed to set down a sound thing said at the wrong moment.
- Being told something at the wrong time does not oblige you to carry it.
If it does not work
If it came from somebody you cannot contradict, you do not have to contradict them. Setting it down privately is enough and nobody is owed a debate.
