What to do with a forwarded message
Answer it in your head first, then look.
Someone sends you the narration about the child pulling his mother into Paradise by the umbilical cord, and it is the first thing in three weeks that has made you feel anything. What is the honest thing to do with it?
Keep the kindness and set the promise down. The person sending it wanted to comfort you and that part was real. The graders divide on that chain, and the step before this one names who is on each side, so it is not something to build a certainty on. What is established is stronger than most people realise: children who die before puberty are named in the sahih material as a mercy to their parents, and the prayer over a miscarried child comes with forgiveness and mercy asked for the parents by name. You have not lost anything by learning the grading. You have swapped a contested chain for a sound one.
