The signs that mean today

These are not signs of affliction and they are not signs of anything else. They are signs that the clock is short.

Hearing or seeing what other people do not, especially if it is new, and especially in more than one sense at the same time. A fixed belief that will not move even when the person is shown otherwise. Several nights running without sleep, with energy that feels raised rather than drained. Not eating or drinking, or refusing food because of a belief about it.

Any thought of ending a life, any plan, any preparation. Any thought of harming somebody else. Those go to emergency services now, not to an appointment.
