What to say to family who disagree
You will not win this with evidence, and you should not try to, because the argument is not really about evidence.
The sentence that works is the one that takes nothing away. We are not stopping anything. We are adding one appointment.
If you need a second, use the one from lesson four. The bedouins asked the Prophet, peace be upon him, whether they should treat their sick, and he told them to use remedies. That is Tirmidhi 2038 and it is graded sound, and you can hand somebody the number. The same exchange is in Abu Dawud 3855.
If the objection is about tawakkul rather than about doctors, the sentence to hand over is Ibn al-Qayyim's in al-Tibb al-Nabawi, quoted in lesson four: neglecting the means impugns reliance itself. It is his and not ours, and it is in a book most of the people making that objection already respect. Hand it over after the sentence above, not instead of it.
And if you get nowhere, you do not need the whole family to agree. You need one adult and one appointment.
Qur’an and Sunnah
A number you can hand somebody. This is Tirmidhi 2038, graded sound. They asked whether they should treat their sick and were told to use remedies.
Usamah bin Sharik said:"Some Bedouins asked: 'O Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) shall we treat (our ill)?' He said: 'Yes, O worshipers of Allah! Use remedies. For indeed Allah did not make a disease but He made a cure for it' - or - 'a remedy. Except for one disease.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)! What is it?' He said: 'Old age

Make use of medical treatment, for Allah has not made a disease without appointing a remedy for it. Abu Dawud 3855, the second number to hand somebody who says the doctor is a step outside the religion.
Narrated Usamah ibn Sharik: I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and his Companions were sitting as if they had birds on their heads. I saluted and sat down. The desert Arabs then came from here and there. They asked: Messenger of Allah, should we make use of medical treatment? He replied: Make use of medical treatment, for Allah has not made a disease without appointing a remedy for it, with the exception of one disease, namely old age
