That pattern is quietly reassuring. A drug that made everyone sharper would lift the good drivers as well, and this does not look like that. It looks like something specific being brought back towards the middle. Worth saying to a teenager who suspects the tablets are meant to turn them into somebody else.

A network meta-analysis of randomised trials in children and adolescents found stimulant medication gave the largest symptom reductions of any single intervention, with non-medication approaches doing less well on the same measures. That is symptom scales rather than driving, and it says nothing about who improves most. So treat the driving picture as a description worth knowing and hold it more loosely than the symptom evidence.
