This one is about your own arrangements. Nothing is announced, nothing is negotiated, and nobody is confronted.

Setting one boundary about you
10 minutes or less
- A boundary is about what you will do, not about what they must stop doing.
- Pick one. When the conversation turns to my weight, I will end the call.
- Say it once, calmly, or do not say it at all and simply do it.
- Then do it, the first time, without a warning and without an argument.
- Expect it to get worse before it settles. That is escalation, and it usually passes.
If it does not work
If following through is not safe, do not follow through. A boundary you cannot enforce is worse than none, and safety comes first.
